The resource is not scarce. The jurisdiction is.
Energy for computation exists in abundance in sunlight. What is scarce for Bitcoin mining is often the right to operate: land, interconnects, permits, and political continuity. SpaceB treats LEO as a jurisdiction and power environment for solar ASIC mining — starting small, proving hardware, and recruiting advisors before any fundraising push.
What we are building:
SpaceB is a Bitcoin-native venture aimed at solar-powered ASIC mining in low Earth orbit. The near-term program is a kilowatt-scale LEO demonstrator. That framing is deliberate. Public communications do not claim gigawatt roadmaps or off-world mining that settles to Earth Bitcoin Layer 1 as a near-term product.
What we are not claiming:
We do not claim zero operating cost, zero carbon, or guaranteed economics. We do not claim absolute censorship-proof operation. We describe designs that can be more seizure-resistant than many terrestrial setups, and we keep economic scenarios behind gated diligence materials.
Thermal and systems posture:
Orbital operation favors thermal simplicity and fault tolerance. Orbital photovoltaic yield and radiator mass can improve versus terrestrial baselines under careful design; quantitative comparisons sit in the gated white paper.
Architecture reminder:
PV array, ASIC payload, radiator system, RF or laser downlink, and multisig custody. Each stage must be demonstrated before scale narratives belong in public copy.
